HookRake watches the YouTube channels you compete with and marks the Short that broke away from its own channel’s median — before the rest of the niche notices.

Four hundred thousand views is a triumph on one channel and an average Tuesday on another. HookRake divides a video’s views by the median of the channel that posted it, so the two stop looking alike.
outlier = views ÷ channel median
Worked example: a channel median of 24,000 views against a short with 412,000 views gives an outlier of ×17.2. This is not a metric supplied or approved by YouTube, and HookRake does not predict future views.
HookRake has no password of its own and never asks for one. The “Continue with Google” button sends you to Google’s own sign-in page at accounts.google.com, where you enter your credentials on Google’s domain, not ours. HookRake receives only your verified email address and display name. It requests no write access to your YouTube account, never posts on your behalf, and offers no downloads or software of any kind.
Public YouTube data is read through the official YouTube Data API. Access is limited to invited beta accounts. Workspaces are isolated per account.
The beta is invite-only while we validate the workflow with the first creators.
